About the Scout Store Every purchase supports our charitable work. As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. Each week, we give over 460,000 young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. So we always put Scouting first. What we do: Scout Store is owned by The Scouts and all of our profits go directly back into Scouting. We are the dedicated and official uniform retailer for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network. We complement this with a full range of casual clothing, accessories, gifts, and outdoor equipment. We are working towards being an ethical and sustainable retail business and we reflect this in our actions, both as employees and as individuals. Together in Scouting: We work with the Scouts to develop and produce all of the badges for the movement, so we always have the most up-to-date range in our store. We are dedicated to investing in Scouting and ensuring the future of the movement. As such, all of our proceeds are returned to UK Scouting so that the outstanding work can continue, both locally and nationally. We’ve been here a while. The first Scout uniform shop was opened in 1917, and even though we are over 100 years old, we remain young at heart. Scouting has stayed true to its core values while adapting its uniform to the changing times. In early 2018, we changed our name from Scout Shops to Scout Store to echo the breadth of Scouting today.
